About Dr. Chang
When deciding on a specialty to pursue, Dr. Chang wanted to be in a field in which his work could have the most positive impact for the greatest number of people. Ultimately, he decided that the greatest impact could be achieved through caring for those that spend so much of their time caring for others: women and mothers.
Dr. Chang grew up outside of Washington D.C. in the Northern Virginia suburbs and completed his Bachelor’s in Neuroscience at the College of William and Mary. He attended medical school at St. George’s University, where he won awards for excellence in clinical skills. He completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Rutgers Health-Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. During his time there, was appointed academic Chief and won an award for excellence in research. His interests include optimizing post-partum care, high-risk pregnancy, enhanced recovery after surgery and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery—including extensive experience with the Da Vinci robotic surgical system.
Dr. Chang recently relocated to Dallas with his wife, newborn son, and his dog. He is excited to join the staff at Holy Cross OB-GYN and will strive to provide high-quality, compassionate and individualized care to women through all stages of their lives.
